Scott Bader: 93.9% reduction in emissions compared to acetone

There are lots of reasons to move away from solvents in the cleaning process. Your main motivation might be keeping your team safe, reducing the cost and impact of your hazardous waste production, or moving closer to your sustainability goals by reducing emissions.

Scott Bader first started working with Terrafend because they saw they could make huge strides in improving site safety. However, when they switched out the acetone they were using to clean for our Ambimization® methodology, they discovered its other benefits, including a huge saving in the amount of waste output produced, and a 93.9% reduction in emissions in the cleaning process.

As the fluid used in Ambimization® is non-toxic and water-based, it’s not only safer than acetone, but it can be reused around 15 times more. This means there’s less waste product to safely dispose of, as well as reduced costs around waste management.
