Jig Strip is a smart, water-based submersion fluid designed to remove multiple layers of heat-cured paint overspray from metal jigs, skids, and grids used in OEM car plants and other heavy industrial coating operations. As a safer, low-temperature alternative to heated caustic baths, pyrolysis, and fluidised bed cleaning, Jig Strip penetrates and softens solvent-based and water-based primers, basecoats, and clearcoats at 20–50°C — delivering effective results while protecting the underlying substrate.
Powered by Terrafend’s advanced delamination and coating separation technology, Jig Strip prevents removed coatings from emulsifying in the fluid, giving it exceptional longevity compared to traditional caustic cleaners. The result is reduced waste, lower costs, and consistently cleaner jigs and skids with far less risk. Non-flammable, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and VOC-free, Jig Strip is designed for use in both ultrasonic cavitation systems and traditional heated soak tanks, offering maximum cleaning flexibility.
